The Lloydminster Community Youth Centre is a community based non-profit organization that relies heavily on volunteers for successful program delivery. In fact, we are always looking for new faces to join our team.

If you enjoy working with youth and have spare time we would love to discuss volunteer opportunities with you. Our volunteer opportunities include; working directly with youth, administrative tasks; maintenance and inventory support, and fundraising and public awareness opportunities.

Please know that you do not expect our volunteers to commit a specific number of hours to the Centre, we are very flexible and appreciative of whatever amount of time you might be able to offer.

We are currently looking for volunteers to assist with our Drug Awareness Program in the middle schools at noon hours. If this is something you may be interested in, please call the centre to set up an interview time.

Our Volunteer Application Process is very simple and straightforward. The process includes:

  • Completing the Volunteer Application.
  • Meeting with our Executive Director to discuss your application.
  • Completing a Criminal Record Check, CWIS Check and an official Oath of Confidentiality.
  • Meeting the staff, volunteers and youth on your first volunteer shift at the Centre.
  • Become a volunteer Program Facilitator!

Volunteerism is a rewarding experience and we are always looking for positive, friendly, mature role models to mentor the youth that we serve. The Youth Centre is a great place to be, and offers a relaxed, rewarding and fun place to dedicate your time and talents.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Lois at (306) 825-3113, or drop by the office for coffee and more information.
